The Phoxx I UL has a bare weight of just 715g and features an oversized interior to accommodate taller backpackers. Equipped with N-Liten Sil/Nylon* fabric, it boasts impressive strength and waterproof performance while packing down to an extremely compact size.
The ultralight shelter is perfect for solo wild camping and backpacking expeditions in the UK. It has a single-side entrance with a small porch for storing boots and gear. If you need more space, the shelter can be extended with the compatible OEX Feral UL Tarp (420 grams, sold separately).
The Phoxx has a single OEX Endura Pole made from high-tensile aluminium that adds strength to your setup without adding weight. It also includes a small additional rear pole that increases foot space for a more comfortable sleeping environment.
*Sil/Nylon is lighter and more flexible than PU-coated polyester fabric. The fabric repels moisture on both sides, preventing condensation build-up and significantly reducing the risk of mould and mildew. It offers the best waterproofing available and can be seam-sealed with silicone rather than tape, helping to further reduce the tent's weight. Although not always necessary, each tent comes supplied with a tube of Silicone Seam Sealer to re-seal any gaps for improved waterproof performance.
